Board Pack
How your board pack reaches you
An email carrying a link to your own portal, never an attachment and never a link to the document, with the pack served from private storage.
The sequence
- The assessment completes and produces a pack.
- GovIntel retrieves it and stores it privately.
- You are emailed that it is ready. The email carries a link to your own portal, not the document.
- You open the portal, and download the pack from there.
Why the email never carries the document
An email attachment is forwarded, archived and re-sent beyond anyone's control. A link to a document is worse: it is a credential in a URL, sitting in a mailbox indefinitely.
The link in the email opens your portal, which then issues a fresh, short-lived, single-use ticket for the actual download. The document itself is never addressable from an email.
What you receive
The board pack PDF.
The Evidence Register is produced with every successful assessment and is available on request. It is not currently delivered automatically alongside the pack through the portal.
If the assessment could not be rated
You are still told, and told plainly, with a different letter. An account that could not be assessed to a standard supporting board reliance is a distinct outcome from a pipeline failure, and the two do not receive the same message.
Nothing is ever public
The pack is never served from a public location. Access requires a valid ticket issued to your session, and every download is recorded against the report.
