Board Reporting
Methodology page
The page printing every constant the calculation used, which is what makes the score checkable rather than merely stated.
What it is
A page in every pack printing the thresholds, the domain weights, the severity weights, the scoring rules, the resilience concerns and families, the population minimums, the critical ceiling and the exposure basis.
Why it is in the pack rather than only in documentation
Because a pack circulates on its own. A reader handed the PDF, months later, with no link and no context, must still be able to check the number.
What it enables
Recomputation. Every domain score and the overall can be derived from what this page prints, which is what turns the assessment from an assertion into a measurement.
What else it carries
The engine version, and the disclosure that the exposure figure is not actuarial and models no likelihood.
What it does not mean
Printing the methodology does not make the methodology right. It makes it checkable, which is a precondition for anyone establishing whether it is right.
